After a few years working for the Alameda County D.A.'s office and a brief stint at a start up in Silicon Valley, I fell into my construction career in 2000. I began working for my father-in-law's family owned roofing company in Oakland. 2 years later I moved on to a few other roofing and solar companies helping homeowners all over Northern California with roofing, solar and other energy efficient upgrades like attic ventilation, skylights and insulation.
After 7 years in the roofing industry, I thought the next challenge was to add solar to my forte. I eagerly jumped into residential solar in 2007, quickly developing a passion for BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) which includes solar roofing tiles and shingles.
Fast forward 25 years. I've helped more than 3,000 clients go solar with their homes and businesses. I like to think that I'm PG&E's arch nemesis, ripping over $10 million a year from their pockets with solar. With just a little help from me, my clients have prevented almost 50 million pounds of carbon dioxide from reaching the atmosphere and poisoning the planet. Who wants to be next?
